  • Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted onto Tumblr. I actually wanted to make some new announcements. I’ve finally created some new products for my Etsy shop and it would mean a ton if you would check it out. I’ll post some product pictures and provide the link to my shop down below also. Thank you! :D

  • I’ve been missing out on uploading these past couple of weeks and naturally, forgot to take a picture today too. So here’s a video of an artwork I recently finished. I’m currently working on a food series using Crayola watercolors.

  • Gouache is one of those mediums that always feels new to me. Right when I think that I know how to use it, it sucker punches me in a surprising way. It’s not a bad surprise though. It’s a medium that I don’t enjoy using but something that I hope that...

It’s a medium that I don’t enjoy using but something that I hope that I can come to enjoy using. Here’s to practicing.

Super interesting and inspiring to flip through to get the hand itching to create.

  • I was able to finish a painting today and I’m quite proud of it too. Once I finish editing the video I’ll probably, upload it some time tomorrow. A question for anyone who stumbles onto this post. What acrylic paints do you recommend or do you use?...

A question for anyone who stumbles onto this post. What acrylic paints do you recommend or do you use? I’ve been using these Craft Smart acrylic paints for a while and am looking to upgrade. Nothing crazy pricey since I’m still learning to paint and am experimenting with styles.

  • I’m in the middle of watching a movie called, At Eternity’s Gate. It’s a film about Vincent van Gogh’s life, not in its’ entirety but in his adulthood showing his time in a small country town and his slow decent in the eyes of society. “Existence can’t be without reason.” I don’t know why this particular quote caught my attention so much but I guess it’s because everyone at some point grapples with existentialism. Why was I born? What’s my purpose? Am I merely a marker of my parents’ love?

  • The finished product from last week’s illustration I started. Truth be told I’ve been wanting to draw inside of books because I was inspired by an artist named John Fenerov. He creates beautiful artworks with graphite and charcoal that are just stunning to look at. Fenerov was the first person I’ve ever seen do such polished works of art inside of books and thus motivated me to give it a shot too. I’m not nearly as great of an artist as he is but I do dream of improving and being able to create that level of polished art. I’ll get there with each trial and error.

  • I felt inspired this morning to finally post something on here after all this time. I dug up my sister’s old digital camera and took this photo of what I’m working on at this moment.

Here are some goals for these future blog posts:
    - Post once a week, preferably on a Sunday (easy enough, I suppose)
    - Use photographs taken only on the digital camera (helps keep me away from my phone)
    - Content is art related whether it’s tips, what I’m working on, or the materials I use for my art
    - Creating a community with art related information sharing or art critiques

These are mainly the roughed out goals I have for here. Whether you like this post/ follow me or just visit once a week to see whether I’ve posted anything new, thank you for stopping by.

    In this photo featured:
    - Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
    - A reference photo from the show I think?
    - A mechanical pencil called, Sumo Grip by Sakura
    - A nearly empty cup of iced coffee (which I should refill soon)

Happy Pride Month you guys <3

Feel free to comment your thoughts and what you would like to see in the future.

  • I want to start by saying no one should feel obligated to help! If y'all can't donate, please signal boost.

I have $47 in my bank account. I'm fine for now but my phone bill will be due soon and I have virtually no food in my house. I have no family I can ask for help because they've all more or less disowned me for being trans. Any little bit helps.
